Colorific emerged from Aalto University’s Neuroscience & Biomedical Engineering department in the Molecular Nanoengineering laboratory.

The team’s focus is on utilizing Colorific's nanoswitch technology for rapid detection of small molecules while harnessing its adaptability for uses in a variety of sectors. The overarching vision is to establish a fast, accurate, and versatile testing solution that caters to various needs, including food safety, veterinary diagnostics, and healthcare.
